I am so pleased to advise you that the Fourth Court of Appeals will be hearing oral arguments in two appeals on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the Uvalde County Courthouse beginning at 1:30 p.m. I have attached a Court Advisory setting forth the cases that will be heard that day.
In anticipation of their visit, the Uvalde County and Medina County Bar Associations will be sponsoring a luncheon in honor of the Fourth Court’s visit at the Uvalde Country Club at 11:30 a.m. on April 10, 2014. The Justices of the Fourth Court have graciously agreed to provide thirty minutes of CLE for those attorneys attending the luncheon. I have attached a copy of the menu for the luncheon, the cost of which will be $23.00 plus taxes and gratuity. I encourage you to take this opportunity to come to the luncheon, meet the Justices, enjoy some good food and free CLE, and attend the oral arguments that afternoon.
